Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, NY

This project is a 20 million dollar job incorporating the following elements of work:

• Installation of new waterline and storm sewers from north of Genesee Street to north of Kensington Avenue in the towns of Cheektowaga and Amherst.
• Complete road reconstruction from north of Genesee Street to north of Kensington Avenue in the towns of Cheektowaga and Amherst.
• Road widening at Maryvale Drive and under the Route 33 overpass which should improve capacity and traffic flow in this area.
• Sanitary sewer upgrades in the town of Amherst.
• Installation of roundabouts, one at Cleveland Drive and two at the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Wehrle Drive.
• Improved pedestrian features such as new sidewalk along the east side of Harlem Road from north of Genesee Street to Maryvale Drive.
