The GBNRTC has prepared for public review a draft of its updated Public Participation Plan. This draft Plan describes the GBNRTC’s procedures to actively involve the public and other stakeholders in its transportation planning. In order to receive full consideration, comments on this Plan should be submitted by May 19, 2017.
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) is applying for federal financial assistance to provide public transportation on segments of the following routes: 44 – Lockport; 64 – Lockport; Express; 69 - Alden; 70 – East Aurora; and 76 - Lotus Bay.
NYSDOT will hold a design public hearing for the Scajaquada Corridor project on Wednesday, January 25th at Buffalo's Frederick Law Olmsted Public School 64 at 5:30pm. NYSDOT staff will be on hand at 4:30pm, one hour prior to the start of the hearing, to discuss the project and answer any questions.

NYSDOT and GBNRTC hosted a Regional Freight Stakeholder Workshop on December 6th, 2016 as part of the New York State Freight Transportation Plan. Over 30 representatives from the public and private sector were on hand to hear about the study’s initial findings and to provide feedback.
