The Seneca Nation of Indians (SNI) Department of Transportation is seeking comments on the Seneca Nation of Indians Tribal Transportation Improvement Program (TTIP).
What is the Tribal Transportation Improvement Program (TTIP)?
The TTIP is a multi-year list of proposed transportation projects developed by the Seneca Nation from the Tribal priority list and / or the long range transportation plan, for use of Tribal Transportation Funds.
The Seneca Nation Department of Transportation is encouraged to consult as appropriate with regional and local transportation agencies and Seneca Nation agencies responsible for land use management, natural resources, environmental protection, conservation and historic preservation in the development of transportation plans and program.
The TTIP is the complementary capital-programming component of the Long-Range Transportation Plan consisting of federally funded roadways, transit, trails, safety, other transportation enhancements and major transportation projects being considered within and providing access to the Seneca territories over the next five (5) years.
For a complete list of projects, please contact Sharon Ray, DOT Project Manager, at 716-945-1790 ext. 3137.
