Happy World Car Free Day!! While nearly every day is car free for me, it's something I feel strongly about. When I sold my car, I was terrified it wouldn't work out, and was terrified again when I was laid off from my job and had to look for jobs on bus routes. But I truly believe that over the last six years, my life has been so much better without a car. I feel more connected to my community in ways you'll never understand until you get out of your car and experience the city in a different way. Take a walk, take a bike ride, hop on the bus or train and talk to a stranger. #carfreeday #carfree #downtownbflo #community
