PIN 5763.25 Buffalo 1R Paving Program Phase 2
Significant Scope Change
The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.
This action will modify an existing FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) project to update project locations (attached). This action is considered a significant scope change as it is a substantial alteration to the project termini, type or original project intent.
Work on PIN 5763.25 Buffalo 1R Paving Program – Phase 2 will include pavement rehabilitation (cold milling and hot mix asphalt resurfacing) to extend the service life of the identified routes by 15 years. Additional project objectives include new/updated curb ramps, minor sidewalk repair, and striping/marking of the new pavement to improve access and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles.
Fiscal constraint is maintained as project cost is unchanged ($7M).
AQ exemption is unchanged (A10 Pavement resurfacing / refurbishment).
Public comments will be received for 30 days from 3/19/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 4/20/26.
