PIN 5308.47 US 62 Resurfacing; Village of Hamburg
New Project
The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.
NYSDOT has proposed the addition of one (1) new project to the FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
This new project will resurface US Route 62 in the Village and Town of Hamburg in Erie County (RM 62 5303 1197 to 1212). Pavement work from PIN 5308.40 (US 62/ NY 75 Resurfacing Including Intersection Improvements at US 62 / NY 75) is being accelerated due to poor conditions.
Total project cost is $1.856M. Fiscal Constraint maintained as $1.856m funding will be transferred from PIN 5126.33 I-990 @ NY 263 Millersport Hwy Intersection Reconfiguration.
Anticipated let (obligation) will be 2/27.
Proposed Transportation Conformity exemption: A10: Pavement resurfacing and/or rehabilitation.
Public comments will be received for 30 days from 5/6/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 6/8/26.
