New Project

The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.

NYSDOT has proposed the addition of one (1) new project to the FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

This project will resurface the existing pavement and overlay it with additional asphalt to prevent further deterioration along NY 265 in the Town of Niagara in Niagara County.

Total project cost is $4.406M. Fiscal Constraint maintained as $4.406 funding transferred from PIN 5B15.55 Pavement Maintenance Block Fund.

Anticipated let (obligation) will be 4/28.

Proposed Transportation Conformity exemption: A10: Pavement resurfacing and/or rehabilitation.

Public comments will be received for 30 days from 4/16/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 5/15/26.
