New Project

The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.

NYSDOT has proposed the addition of one (1) new project to the FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

This project will restore pavement conditions of NY 277 from NY 5 (Main St.) to NY 324 (Sheridan Drive); in the Town of Amherst; County of Erie.

Total project cost is $4.076M. Fiscal constraint maintained as $3.435M transferred from PIN 5B15.56 Pavt Maint VPP & $0.641m transferred from PIN 5B15.55 Pavt Maint Block

Anticipated let (obligation) will be 8/29.

Proposed Transportation Conformity exemption: A10: Pavement resurfacing and/or rehabilitation.

Public comments will be received for 30 days from 4/16/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 5/15/26.
