Public Notice for Grant Application for Federal Transit Administration Funds
Proposed Program of Projects
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority hereby notifies the public of the intent to file a grant application for funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (Sections 5307 5337 and 5339), under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. These funds will be used to procure capital items for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authorities Bus and Rail systems. The projects have been endorsed by the Greater Buffalo Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC), the Metropolitan Planning Organization for Erie and Niagara Counties.

Written comments will be accepted for 30 days from the original date of publication of this notice (2/25/2026).
