PIN 5568.17 NY 263 (Millersport Highway); I-290 - Flint Rd

New Project

The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.

NYSDOT has proposed the addition of one (1) new project to the FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

This project will consist of pavement reconstruction and intersection safety improvements on NY 263 (Millersport Highway) between I-290 and Flint Rd in the Town of Amherst.

Total project cost is $2.786M. Fiscal Constraint maintained as $1.243M will be transferred from PIN 5B20.06 HSIP/NHPP State Safety Block & $1.543M will be transferred from PIN 556816 NY 263; Flint Road to NY 270.

Anticipated let (obligation) will be 5/28.

Proposed Transportation Conformity exemption: A10: Pavement resurfacing and/or rehabilitation.

Public comments will be received for 30 days from 4/16/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 5/15/26.
