New Project

The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Erie and Niagara Counties.

NYSDOT has proposed the addition of one (1) new project to the FFY 26-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

Project will provide standard width paved shoulders to reduce roadway departure crashes.

Total project cost is $769,850. Fiscal constraint is maintained as project was awarded $731,358 HSIP (with 5% local match of $38,492).

Anticipated let (obligation) will be 11/11/27.

Proposed Transportation Conformity exemption: A6 - Highway Safety Improvement Program implementation.

Public comments will be received for 30 days from 4/16/26 until Close of Business (COB) on 5/15/26.
